Much better evening

I had a fruit sorbet and an orange juice that I made tonight. It had a sweet potato, carrots, clementines and gala apples. It was pretty good. It didn't have an overpowering taste like the other juices I've made. They all have been good in different ways. The only one I wasn't crazy about was the Mean Green. I'll try it again though without a whole lemon and see how it is. I did make David's juices for work tomorrow. I made him a mean green and an orange juice. Everything is cleaned up and put away for tomorrow. I did have a small mishap when feeding the clementines in the juicer. I tried to put all four in at the same time and the first one went in but the other 3 didn't and I didn't get the plunger in quick enough and clementine went everywhere. LOL I got it cleaned up pretty quickly though. Thankfully it was the pulp which was pretty dry. I'm proud of myself for not having a bagel sandwich like I really wanted to. I have run out of stuff though so I'll have to make a trip to Sprouts in the morning. I have someone (supposedly) coming by to buy a modem but I can go to Sprouts early (they open at 7am) and be home way before the 10:30am appointment. I'm not expecting this person to show though. I've had other people interested in stuff and they never showed so I'm not getting my hopes up. It's only $10 anyway.

So, it's been a difficult day but I kept to it and now feel like it's been a successful day. Tomorrow is David's first day at work since we started juicing so it will be interesting to see if I juice for myself more than once tomorrow. I'll try to have a salad for lunch too. That's my plan anyway.

I still feel tired and sore. I'm not drinking enough water or juice. I know I need more if I want this to be a healthy way to lose weight. I'm getting more fruits and veggies than I ever did before though but it's still not enough. I have to do more. I don't want to feel this tired and sore forever. I still look forward to taking my medicine at night to dull the pain. That's not a good thing. I'm glad it helps the pain but I'd rather not have the pain to begin with.

David's doctor's appointment went well. He does NOT have Parkinson's or MS. He has essential tremors which just can be from being dehydrated and also comes with getting older. I'm thinking that the tremors I have are from dehydration. We both need to hydrate better. I'm just grateful it's not anything serious. I told the doctor that we're doing more fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. He recommended the Mediterranean Diet but we're happy doing what we're doing for now. The MD is high on fish and seafood which doesn't work for me any how.

That's about it for tonight. I'm tired and going to bed once the hockey game is over. I want Chicago to win but I don't want to be up late because of overtime (it's 2-1 LA right now). Pray for a Chicago win with no OT. LOL Goodnight.
