I just finished ordering a few things from JMS. I got:
herringbone pattern tights, size 3x/4x
socks, extended size 10-12
boy briefs, size 12
I will be so glad when I get to my goal weight of 174 pounds to be able to go into a local store and buy things. I end up buying a lot of things online because walking around the store could be exhausting and trying on clothes was frustrating. I'd rather order online and try stuff on at home. The nice thing about these items that I've ordered is if they don't fit quite right I know I'll be losing more weight and they will fit eventually. I'm hoping the tights fit though so I can wear them to my TV News taping on the 16th. I'd feel more comfortable with tights than I would with socks falling down.
It's after 2am (yes, I remembered to set my clocks back). I've been up for hours. Bayou wasn't feeling good and threw up on the carpet. Nice. I got it all cleaned up though and now she's sleeping soundly on the couch. I decided to stay up for a while to watch her but I think she just ate something outside that made her throw up (looked like a lot of grass). She seems to be doing fine now so I may head back to bed after I take some allergy medicine.
I was just thinking that before WW if I got up this time of night I always would eat something but I'm not doing that tonight. I'm craving stuff but I'm not allowing myself to eat at this time of night. I can wait until I have my breakfast in the morning. I'm going to boil up some eggs too today. I may have to go to the store again though because I have a few things to pick up which includes eggs. I'll have to check though to see if I already have another dozen in the fridge. David asked me to cook the eggs just a few minutes more so they are more hard cooked. The yokes were cooked with this last batch but a little soft. He prefers them to be harder so I can do that. I'll bring them to a boil and then take them off the heat and let them cook for about 22 minutes (instead of 17). Then I'll run cold water over them once they are done cooking to stop the cooking process. They were nice to have on hand last week.
My grocery shopping list:
* English muffins
* jelly
* sausage
* eggs
* muffin cups
* meats
I'll do an inventory before I go to the store though to see how many meals I already have here. Then I'll make a complete list and go grocery shopping. I'd like to go to the 9am WW meeting first though, then go shopping. Today is a new topic and I'm excited to know what it is. I just looked it up on the WW site - The Couch Potato Workout. Hmmm. Should be interesting. I've been a couch potato for 3 weeks now because of my knee. Yes, I'm getting in some AP's by grocery shopping and doing things around the house but I want to be able to get out and hike and that's not going to happen at this point. Once I get the MRI results I should have a clearer picture of what I can do going forward.
We got an $80 check in the mail from MetLife for premium overpayment. That covers the cost of my hair coloring and the clothes I've bought. So I only spent $45 instead of $125. That's great! Still have to try on all my clothes to make sure they fit and look good. If something doesn't fit I can take it back today instead of waiting. I'm hoping to get those tights before the 16th so I can wear them with my pants. JMS is pretty quick with the shipping so I'm hopeful that I will have them sooner rather than later. If they don't come by the 15th I'll have to go out and get some trouser socks at Catherine's (if it's still open) or Lane Bryant at the mall. I can get some AP's in at the mall.
I should head back to bed because I'm starting to want to eat something and I don't really want to do that. I want a piece of that Pumpkin Oat Bread. I won't touch it though because I've already packaged it all in individual zip lock bags. I'll have David take it to work on Monday. I hope the guys enjoy it. Man, I'm really wanting a piece of it. I better go take my allergy medicine and head back to bed.
