Saturday morning breakfast

Kashi GoLean Crunch, 1/2 cup, 2 PPV
fat free milk, 1/2 cup, 1 PPV
banana, 0 PPV
English muffin, 3 PPV
butter, 2 PPV
jelly, 1 PPV

9 PPV breakfast. I feel satisfied and won't need anything to eat until lunch time since I ate breakfast at 10am.

I did some walking this morning at the grocery store. I needed bananas and a few other things. It's been a good way for me to get in some AP's (shopping every couple of days). I bought:

* bananas
* apples
* pears
* Kashi cereal
* yogurt (for David, I don't eat yogurt)
* shredded low fat cheese
* sandwich thins
* eggs
* celery
* tomatoes
* frozen blueberries
* frozen cherries

I'm amazed at how healthy my shopping is now. I also looked for a food chopper but I didn't like what they had so I'll probably order one online (perhaps Pampered Chef, I like theirs). It will make it easier to chop things up. The had a Michael Graves one but I don't really like his line of stuff. Plus it was purple and I just couldn't get a purple chopper since the small appliances in my kitchen are red. LOL

Weekends are usually the toughest for me. I typically crave junk food more on the weekends because I used to load up for the weekends on Fridays. But I'm not doing that anymore. No cravings yet today.  I have a plan for food today so shouldn't find myself hungry for junk. The weekends are getting a little bit better because it's becoming more of a habit to eat healthier and to make healthier choices. I still think a lot about the doughnuts at 7-Eleven though. That used to be my Sunday morning thing. So far though I'm not giving in. It feels good to be in control and boss of the food.

I'm anxious to hear about my MRI but Shellie isn't in the office until Tuesday so I don't expect to hear anything until then. It's not feeling too bad today and I have yet to put the pain patch on. I'll do that here in a few minutes when I go to get my morning meds/supplements.

I have to catch up on writing for NaNoWriMo today. I have to get in at least 1667 words to be on target. I think I should be able to do that. I only wrote a few words yesterday because I had done so many the day before that my average is still where it needs to be but I must work on my novel today (in addition to blogging). I'm having fun with it and don't think I would have had the confidence to do it without WW.

My TV interview on self-injury is set for the 16th. I don't have a specific time yet though. I'm hoping it will be late morning so I don't have to drive up to Denver in too much traffic. Alicia has actually volunteered to drive me up there since I'm having problems with my knee. I think I am going to accept her offer so I don't have to go up there alone. It would be nice to have her to debrief with after the taping is done. I'm getting a little anxious about doing the TV piece but think I can go ahead and do it. I still need to get my hair done and make sure I have some nice clothes to wear. I have a week and a half until I need to be up there so I should spend time at the beginning of the week on my hair and clothes. I'll probably have to buy a shirt at least if not pants too. I don't know if what I have will fit me. I hope so. I don't want to have to go shopping for much with my knee bothering me. I'll probably go over to the stores near Target and see if they have anything. If not, I'll try Catherine's. I won't go to the mall unless I absolutely have to. I haven't been to the mall in years!

I hope everyone has a fantastic day today and that you get to spend time doing the things you love to do. Try to get in some AP's, track, track, track and stay OP!
