I thought there would be some fruits or veggies at the get together but it ended being a "bring a dessert" kind of thing. So I brought oatmeal raisin cookies that I made at home and knew the point value of. We had our big lunch at the Mexican restaurant so I wasn't even hungry for dinner (just a salad). So I went to the get together knowing I could eat a cookie or two if I really wanted something. The desserts that were there were rich and decadent but I really didn't have a craving for any of it which blew my mind. I just had 2 cups of herbal tea and left it at that. I brought home half the bag of cookies I made but I'll save those again for David's lunch and for his co-workers. I also will have plenty to bring to tonight's dinner with friends. I'm only keeping the 3 that I had set aside for myself for the week. I'm making sure to stay OP.
I was hungry when I got home last night so I made a half a PB&J sandwich. No chips, just the PB&J. That satisfied me and I was able to go to bed without thinking about food. I was up in the middle of the night again and didn't get back to bed until about 3am or so. So here comes the weird part. I think I ate breakfast at 3am. Either that or I dreamed I ate breakfast. LOL Since I'm not sure I'm going to go easy on eating this morning. I'm pretty sure I used 3 points on a bowl of cereal though. Weird huh. I wonder what else I do that I don't remember. : /
Going to the 9am meeting today. It's a new topic today - how to handle Thanksgiving! I'm looking forward to that.
