I made whole wheat angel hair pasta with marinara sauce with some leftover cooked hamburger in it. I also made a giant salad that had everything but the kitchen sink it it for veggies. The only thing I didn't put in it that I usually have in a salad is cucumber. It was all delicious! Half my plate was salad and a 1/4 was spaghetti. I feel just the right amount of fullness. For dessert I have already planned to make blueberry muffins. They'll be medium sized and will be 10 points total. That will still leave me with 6 points for the day.
It feels good to have made what I planned for dinner. It's not even 5pm and I have everything done that I wanted to do today. Tomorrow I'll do more dishes and do some laundry. I probably have 2 loads of laundry (one is sheets so that will be easy). Tomorrow is shopping day but I have to see The Peaceful Mom's meal plan first. I'll start with that and add in with the food I have here already. I'll try to do the kitchen inventory tonight but it may wait until tomorrow before I go shopping. I will only plan what I like this week. I'm not going to cook anything that I think will be questionable to me. I still have to see if that pork roast is still good or not. I'll do that later too. I'll hate to waste it but if it's past the date there's nothing I can do but get rid of it. I know I bought it a week ago so I'm not hopeful that it's still good.
I have 10 AP's that I've earned in the last 2 days. The AP's can be traded for food points or I can just let them sit and hope the activity helps me lose weight. I'll probably let them sit. I still have my 49 weekly points too. I may use those for Mother's Day if we end up going out. The weather is supposed to be rainy/snowy this weekend so we may not go out. I can't believe it's May and we may get snow. Yikes!
I'm really glad that I have this blog to post my feelings and activities in. I try to only post once or twice a day in the WW blog but I can post as often as I want in this blog. I'll summarize all of today's events in the WW blog later tonight. It's interesting to look back and see where I was just a year ago or months ago. I have made progress. Getting back to WW was the best thing I've done for myself. Sticking to the WW plan and tracking everything I eat is so important. It's the most important thing I can do to lose weight. This blog helps too because I can kind of work things out by posting what's going on. I'll use anything I can to help me to lose weight.
Time to relax now. I'll make some muffins later this evening.
