It's an overcast day. I was up early and had my Kashi GoLean Crunch cereal with FF (fat free) milk and a banana. It's such a yummy breakfast and it's only 3-4 points depending on how much cereal I have. Usually I have the 3 point amount. That was around 6am. Then at 9am I had a mini bar for a morning snack. I already know that my lunch will be a ham and cheese sandwich and chips. Predictable is good for me. It makes things easier knowing what I'm going to eat and when. I'll have to decide what is going to be for dinner tonight. I think it's too cold for David to grill outside and it might be raining later. I have other things to choose though. I just realized that I didn't make a list on paper of what meals we are going to have. I need to do that so I have something to look at.
I went back to my WW blog post from yesterday and got the meals I have planned for the week. I wrote them down on my clipboard. I think I'll make teriyaki chicken and rice for dinner tonight. I'll make a salad to go with it. It's good to have a list of meals to choose from. It makes life easier.
I can't believe how out of shape I am. I just sorted the laundry and put a load in the washer and I'm out of breath and my back hurts. That's really sad. But at least I'm still able to do things. It might get me out of breath and sore but I can do it. It counts toward activity points so that's good. Now I have 18 activity points for the week. My goal right now is to have 25 AP's a week. I should easily be able to make that goal each week. Once I start walking I'll get that and more. I'll have at least 1 more load of laundry. I'm doing sheets and towels right now. Clothes will be next. I'm going to try to do it from start (putting them in the washer) to finish (putting everything away). Usually I let the clothes sit in the dryer and we pull them out as we need them during the week. I guess that something else I could try to do today is to clean out the closet and move the stuff that doesn't fit me into another closet. That will be most of my clothes. I need to clean out my sock bin too. I've got way too many socks in there that I don't wear or that have holes in them. I could try to do that this morning.
I don't like doing laundry but at least I get AP's for doing it. I have a lot of dishes sitting on the counter so I need to get that done today too. I'm getting tired just thinking of doing all this today. lol Seriously though, it does wear me out to do this stuff but I know it will get easier as time goes on. I still need to see if there is a treadmill in the workout room at the clubhouse too. I'd like to try walking to see how my knee will do.
I'm going to lay down before I try cleaning out the closet. I'll do what I can. It may be too much to do the whole job today. Breaking it down into 15 minute sessions would probably be a good idea.
