I went to the 9:30am WW meeting. Karen was the leader for the meeting. Christine was there too weighing people in. The meeting was very good. Karen talked about a lot of different things including answering specific questions people had. I learned things again today. I thanked Christine after the meeting for the postcard she sent me. She gave me a hug. I told her about me knee and she told me to just stay focused on the plan and the Good Health Guidelines. So, what did I do I came home and ate 8 cookies. I have no idea why I did that. I was telling myself that I'm having a bad day because of my knee hurting but I realized that it was a few minutes of falling off plan and I go get right back on plan this minute. I don't have to give up the whole day to bad habits. I ate the cookies and it's over with. Now to get back on the program and eat the right things the rest of the day. Those 8 cookies ate up 16 of my points. Wow! But that's okay, I have the points to use. I won't buy anymore cookies when I go shopping. I've learned my lesson. I can't control myself when I have snacks in the house. Better to have a fruit and cheese plate and get healthy foods inside me than to eat cookies and only get junk for my PPV's. Before WW I would have just given in for the whole day and made it a free for all. But since I have to track everything I eat I don't want to add anymore junk to the day. I can make the change right now to choose healthier foods the rest of the day.
I put a new Thermacare pack in my wrap on my knee. This one is a double that is getting the side and back of my knee. It feels good on my very sore knee. This mornings meeting was an hour long and my knee started getting sore from sitting there so long but I made it through. Tomorrow Maria comes to clean the house so I have some things to get straightened out before then, mostly in the kitchen. Then I have my appointment with Alicia. Climbing the stairs to her office should prove to be fun. I don't want to cancel just because of the stairs though. I really need to see her especially since I hurt my leg and I'm kind of bummed out about it. I also have some homework to go over with her. I haven't been reading the books she assigned me though. Maybe I can do that today since I have to sit a lot.
Jeez, it's lunch time already. Nacho plate today. Then a fruit and cheese plate for a snack. More later.
